Are you ready for fashion week? Or I should ask, are your social media accounts ready? Here are the blogs, magazines and people you should be following to make sure you don’t miss a single moment.
Teen Vogue: They’re serious about their fashion week coverage. Follow them on Twitter and Tumblr. Also be sure to follow editors Eva Chen, Jane Keltner deValle and Naomi Nevitt for backstage and runway pictures.
Refinery 29, The Cut, Styleite and Fashionista.com: If you’re a serious fashionholic you probably read these blogs anyway, but make sure you follow them on Twitter for up to the moment happenings.
Style.com: If you missed a show, don’t fret, style.com posts every single look from every designer. They also post pictures of the front row, hair & makeup looks and detailed clothing shots for the major designer shows.
Jamie Beck: My favorite fashion photog (as well as one of OscarPRGirl’s). She posts the most gorgeous runway photos on her Tumblr.
Lucky: I don’t know how they do it but they seem to be all over fashion week posting photos from every single show. Hats off to them. For a little comic relief, follow Lucky editor John Jannuzzi. His tweets are harder to keep up with than the damn Kardashians (I think his phone is glued to his hands), but they’re worth a good laugh.
Modelinia: You know the people who actually wear the clothes down the runway-yeah they’re called models. They’re kind of a big deal, aside from the actual clothes.
BellaSugar: Everything hair, makeup and beauty related. Want to know what hairspray they used at BCBG? They’ll let you know.

Musings and gems from a native New Yorker, digital marketer, media maven, culture junkie, and style enthusiast. I'll mostly post things related to advertising, marketing, social media, and technology - but be prepared for moments of diversion...especially relating to art, literature, music, fashion, zombies, comic books, and my cat :-)
